At LEMER Foundry, social and environmental responsibility is at the heart of our strategy. Aware of the impact of our industrial activity, we invest more than €500,000 each year to protect our employees and preserve the environment.
Our commitment is reflected in concrete and measurable actions, in line with best practices. To structure and evaluate our performance, we collaborate with leading partners such as EcoVadis and PlanetRSE, who support us in the continuous improvement of our environmental, social, and societal practices. This comprehensive approach reflects our desire to reconcile industrial performance, safety, and employee well-being, while actively contributing to the sustainability of our region and the circular economy.

Lead, a metal that can be recycled indefinitely
Today, most of the lead produced and used worldwide comes from previous applications. A natural and stable metal, lead retains its properties indefinitely: recycled lead therefore offers the same quality as primary metal extracted from ore.
Our choice : 100% recycled lead
At LEMER Foundry, we use only recycled lead, mainly from the reprocessing of automotive batteries. This approach allows us to :
- Preserve natural resources,
- Limit the environmental impact of mining,
- And promote a truly circular economy.
Zero waste, everything is recycled
In line with this approach, we go even further: even our casting waste is collected and resold to be reintroduced into the production cycle. Every gram of lead we handle is given a new lease of life.
