Expanding and modernizing LEMER’s site to meet tomorrow’s industrial challenges.
On June 11, 2026, LEMER Foundry was pleased to welcome about ten guests to its Loroux-Bottereau site, including:
- Franck LOUVRIER, Vice President of the Pays de la Loire Region,
- Emmanuel RIVERY, Mayor of Loroux-Bottereau,
- and Olivier RAMOS, Deputy City Councilor.
This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the "Loroux 2030" project, a strategic initiative that will support the company’s development in the coming years.
In response to the evolving needs of our customers and the growing demands of our industrial environment, the Loroux 2030 project aims to anticipate the challenges of tomorrow.
The main objective is to adapt the Loroux-Bottereau site to accommodate the growth prospects of our business, particularly in our strategic sectors of nuclear energy and marine equipment. This expansion will involve a significant increase in operational and storage space, enabling us to meet market demands over the long term.
Beyond this capacity issue, Loroux 2030 fully incorporates the regulatory changes related to the use of lead.
The project therefore includes the necessary upgrades to meet stricter safety, environmental, and occupational health requirements, particularly in accordance with SEVESO regulations, the IED Directive, and lead level monitoring.
This transformation also presents a significant opportunity to improve working conditions and enhance the site’s appeal. New common areas will be created to provide employees with a more comfortable work environment. The reception areas will also be redesigned to include modern offices and meeting rooms, fostering interaction with our clients and partners.
With Loroux 2030, LEMER Foundry is equipping itself to:
- Support its growth,
- Strengthen its regulatory compliance,
- And sustainably prepare its industrial facilities for the challenges of tomorrow.
