Nuclear Shielding: Precision and Performance

Lead plates and shots for nuclear lifting beams

LEMER Foundry supported one of its customers in a complex nuclear shielding and protection project, providing technical expertise on the assembly of lead plates and shots. One of our recent projects perfectly illustrates our expertise: the lifting beam (cover) for the source transfer trolley at the Creys-Malville power plant, as part of its decommissioning.

A demanding project

For this project, LEMER Foundry was tasked with installing 175 lead plates (30 tons) spread over four levels, as well as 10.7 tons of lead shots, in the steel structure of the lifting beam, directly on site in Poland.

Recognition from our customers

Our customers have praised our team's rigor, quality, and dedication. This positive feedback confirms LEMER Foundry's ability to meet the most stringent requirements of the nuclear industry and is a major asset for the development of our business.
